Jennifer Lopez and her husband, Ben Affleck, have decided to sell their $60 million Beverly Hills home, following news of their impending divorce. The couple has enlisted realtor Santiago Arana from The Agency to handle the sale. Despite the property being on the market for two weeks, there have been no interested buyers yet.
According to TMZ, the couple is asking for around $65 million for the mansion. However, due to the broker’s commission and new taxes on luxury properties, it is expected that Lopez and Affleck will face a financial loss of millions of dollars.
New images of the house were recently uploaded to the real estate marketplace site Zillow. The listing had apparently been sold last year, but the photos of the home’s interior were posted on June 1 and June 5. The Daily Mail reported on these images, but Page Six did not receive a response from Zillow when they reached out for comment.
Lopez and Affleck purchased the 43,000-square-foot house in cash for $60.85 million in May 2023, just 10 months after their wedding in Las Vegas. The extravagant property boasts 17 bedrooms, 30 bathrooms, and parking space for 80 vehicles. It also features an indoor sports complex, a sports bar, outdoor lounging areas, a zero-edge pool, and extensive grounds.
Rumors of a divorce have been circulating, with Affleck reportedly staying at a separate residence from his wife. Lopez was recently seen house shopping with a friend, while Affleck has been spotted without his wedding ring. Sources claim that the couple is “on two completely different pages” and that Affleck disagrees with Lopez’s lifestyle, feeling worn down by the marriage.
Despite these rumors, Lopez and Affleck have not publicly addressed the speculations and have continued to present a united front.
