Driver Arrested after Crashing into Forklift at Fenway Park

When she tried to reverse and get away, a Boston police officer jumped on Perlmutter’s forklift and instructed him to pursue her. Perlmutter then accelerated his forklift and lifted the car about three and a half feet off the ground, preventing her from escaping.
After the incident, the driver was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She was also arrested by the Red Sox spokesperson. It was later revealed that she was believed to be involved in a series of other crashes around the city, including a hit-and-run at the entrance to the Ted Williams Tunnel in East Boston, where she allegedly hit two vehicles and fled the scene.
