Beginning April 30, United will initiate direct flights from Newark Liberty International Airport to Split, Croatia, marking its second destination in this increasingly popular country. Following closely, on May 1, the airline will launch flights to Bari, located in the picturesque Puglia region of southern Italy, known for its stunning coastline and rich culinary traditions. These routes are designed to attract travelers who prefer to bypass larger hubs while enjoying direct access to charming European locales.
On May 22, United will also offer nonstop service to Santiago de Compostela in Spain’s Galicia region, a notable destination at the conclusion of the famous Camino de Santiago pilgrimage.
