Former President Donald Trump Receives Endorsement from Senator Tim Scott

In the midst of preparations for the upcoming primary in New Hampshire, former President Donald Trump has gained the endorsement of South Carolina Senator Tim Scott. This endorsement comes as a blow to former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who is set to address voters in Manchester on Saturday.

During the endorsement announcement, Scott humorously stated, “That’s why I came to the very warm state of New Hampshire to endorse the next president of the United States.” U.S. Representative Elise Stefanik was also present and expressed her support for President Trump.

Haley, who currently trails Trump by 14 points in the polls, did not provide any comments regarding the endorsement. She did, however, emphasize the need for a new generational conservative leader who can move forward with positivity and leave behind any negativity and baggage.

New Hampshire Governor Chris Sununu, who has endorsed Haley, downplayed Scott’s endorsement by stating, “If anybody cared about Tim Scott, he’d still be running for president. Nobody cares.”

Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who is currently in third place in the polls, held three events on Friday and will be spending Saturday in South Carolina. He is expected to return to New Hampshire on Sunday.
