Toyota Motor’s Global Production Soars to Record Level in November

In November, Toyota Motor experienced a remarkable 11 percent surge in global production, reaching an all-time high. This impressive rebound comes after facing supply chain disruptions last year and is attributed to strong demand both in Japan and overseas.

Record-Breaking Figures

During November, Toyota produced a total of 926,573 vehicles worldwide, including their luxury brand, Lexus. Additionally, sales increased by 14 percent compared to the previous year, which was plagued by semiconductor shortages that affected automakers globally.

Strong Sales Performance

Toyota witnessed a significant boost in domestic sales, with a remarkable 27 percent increase during the month. The United States and China also contributed to the positive sales trend, with both countries experiencing a 17 percent sales growth. Furthermore, European sales climbed by 15 percent.

Record-Breaking Year Ahead

These outstanding results indicate that Toyota is on track to achieve global sales of over 10 million Toyota and Lexus-branded vehicles in 2023, setting yet another record. Notably, approximately one-third of the vehicles sold this year have been gasoline-electric hybrids.
