Tommy Lee Faces Lawsuit for Alleged 2003 Helicopter Sexual Assault and Cocaine Use

Rocker Tommy Lee Accused of Sexual Assault in Helicopter

Rocker Tommy Lee is facing serious allegations of sexual assault from a woman who claims the incident occurred 20 years ago in the cockpit of a helicopter. The accuser, referred to as Jane Doe in a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles, alleges that the Mötley Crüe drummer forcibly groped, kissed, and penetrated her with his fingers during a 40-minute flight from San Diego County to Van Nuys, California in February 2003. The lawsuit was obtained by Rolling Stone.

Allegations and Details of the Incident

The unnamed woman states that she was invited onto the helicopter by pilot David Martz, with whom she had developed a friendly relationship as he was a patron at her bank. According to the complaint, shortly after takeoff, Martz began mixing drinks using alcohol he had stored in the helicopter. The woman alleges that both Martz and Lee consumed alcohol, smoked marijuana, and snorted cocaine during the flight. However, she claims that she did not partake in the offered alcohol.

At one point during the flight, Martz allegedly invited the woman to the cockpit, where Lee proceeded to sexually assault her. The complaint states that Lee became more forceful when she attempted to pull away. The lawsuit alleges that Lee fondled her breasts and penetrated her with his fingers while attempting to force her to perform oral copulation. The woman states that she was trapped in the cockpit and had no means of escape.

Lawsuit and Seeking Damages

The accuser is suing Lee for gender violence, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligence. She claims that the incident has caused her great shock, distress, humiliation, shame, and guilt. The woman is seeking past, present, and future damages, including medical expenses, loss of earnings, and earnings capacity.

Response and Allegations against Pilot David Martz

As of now, representatives for Tommy Lee have not responded to the allegations, and Lee has not addressed them on social media. The woman alleges in her lawsuit that she decided to come forward now because she believed that pilot David Martz had a history of illegal behavior. Martz died in an aviation accident in 2015. According to reports, he had a DUI arrest in 2009 and had faced disciplinary issues that resulted in the loss of his pilot’s license multiple times.
