Tom Brady Opens Up About Parenting and His Busy Retirement Life

Tom Brady, the legendary quarterback, revealed at the Fanatics Fest in New York City that retirement hasn’t slowed him down; in fact, he’s busier than ever. Despite being a retired athlete, Brady is juggling parenthood and new career endeavors. He acknowledges the challenge of being a good parent and emphasizes the hard work that goes into making a child’s life easier. Brady’s children, Benjamin, Vivian, and Jack, play a significant role in his life, and he admits that they run his life. However, he also jokes that they only call him when they need something.

As his children have grown older, they have started to appreciate why Brady made certain sacrifices throughout his career. Being a dedicated father and provider for his family required him to be away at times and focus on his job. After retiring from the NFL in 2023, Brady took a year off to spend time with his family and launch his wellness brand, TB12. However, he will soon make his return to the gridiron as an NFL analyst for Fox Sports, thanks to a massive 10-year, $375 million contract.

Despite his busy schedule, Brady has made the most of his time off. He fulfilled a Make-A-Wish request in New York City and walked out country singer Morgan Wallen at his Las Vegas concert. He also traveled to Paris with his daughter to watch the 2024 Summer Olympics and documented their adventures in his vlog series, “Last Week with Tom Brady.” Prior to their European vacation, Brady and his children enjoyed a getaway in Montana.

Not much is known about Brady’s co-parenting and custody agreements with his ex-wife, Gisele Bündchen. The couple announced their divorce in October 2022 and rarely discuss their co-parenting dynamic. However, they faced a rough patch when Brady agreed to do a Netflix roast that contained jokes about their marriage and Bündchen’s new romance. Bündchen was reportedly deeply disappointed and felt that Brady put football before his family.

Brady later admitted that he didn’t like how some of the jokes affected his family and wouldn’t participate in such a roast again. However, when asked for advice by ESPN star Stephen A. Smith, who was considering doing a roast himself, Brady jokingly replied, “Measure nine times and cut once. So think really hard about it.”

In conclusion, Tom Brady’s retirement hasn’t slowed him down. He is busy balancing his new career endeavors with being a dedicated father to his children. Brady acknowledges the challenges of parenting and the sacrifices he made throughout his career. He cherishes the moments he spends with his children and appreciates their understanding as they grow older. While not much is known about his co-parenting arrangements with Gisele Bündchen, they have faced challenges but remain committed to their family. Brady is eager to return to the gridiron as an NFL analyst and continue making the most of his time off.
