Texas Department of Criminal Justice Searching for Escaped Inmate from Clemens Unit in Brazoria County
The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is currently on the lookout for an inmate who escaped from the Clemens Unit in Brazoria, Texas. The inmate, identified as 39-year-old Robert Yancy Jr., was last seen on Sunday at approximately 3:38 p.m. at the facility located on Highway 36.
Yancy was serving a life sentence without parole for the continuous sexual abuse of a child out of Victoria County. He was last seen wearing a black beanie and a black sweater.
Authorities have released information about the vehicle Yancy was last seen in. It is described as a white 2021 Nissan Versa with a license plate number DNR-9145.
