Taiwanese Company Pledges to Support Sustainable Communities in Australia for the Next 15 Years

In an exciting development for sustainable communities, Taiwanese company GreenRock Energy has announced its commitment to power two new smart communities in Australia for the next 15 years. Partnering with Australian Internet of Things technology company X2M Connect, GreenRock Energy will become the priority battery owner in the rollout of these communities in Echuca and Yarrawonga, located in the state of Victoria.

The aim of these smart communities is to reduce energy costs and promote sustainable living. With a large number of smart homes and shared spaces, the communities will be equipped with advanced technology to optimize energy usage and minimize carbon emissions. Each community will have eight batteries installed, with an expected power capacity of 200 kW/250 kWh. Additionally, the system will include 24-hour cloud monitoring, prevention warnings, and artificial intelligence efficiency analysis to accurately analyze energy demand and address any defective status in real-time.

GreenRock Energy stated that achieving net-zero carbon emissions by 2050 has become a global consensus. The company has already established itself as a leader in smart energy management, winning national bids and having a significant market share in Japan and South Korea. Through its partnership with X2M Connect, GreenRock Energy aims to expand its reach and contribute to the development of renewable energy generation and virtual power plant operations in Taiwan, Australia, South Korea, and Japan.

As part of their agreement, GreenRock Energy will own about 11 percent of ordinary shares of X2M Connect through a significant investment. This strategic alliance between the two companies will drive the delivery of energy management system solutions in the energy storage space across multiple countries.

CEO of X2M Connect, Mohan Jesudason, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership with GreenRock Energy. Jesudason believes that this agreement lays the foundation for a long-term collaboration that will have a positive impact on the energy sector in Taiwan, Australia, and Japan.

In other news, X2M Connect recently secured a contract from China-based Yuanda Intelligence for water quality sensor hardware. This contract further solidifies their position in the market and demonstrates the company’s continued growth and expansion into various sectors.

While X2M Connect reported a net loss in the previous year, this was mainly attributed to the shift away from low-margin hardware sales. With a focus on energy management system solutions and strategic partnerships like the one with GreenRock Energy, X2M Connect is poised for future success.

The partnership between GreenRock Energy and X2M Connect is an exciting development for the sustainable communities movement in Australia. With their innovative technology and long-term commitment, these companies are paving the way for a greener and more energy-efficient future. Through their collaboration, they are set to revolutionize the way communities consume and manage energy, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable world.
