T.J. Holmes expresses frustration and dislike for being separated from Amy Robach during her travels.

In a recent episode of their podcast, “Amy and T.J.,” journalist T.J. Holmes expressed his frustration and dislike for being separated from his co-anchor-turned-partner, Amy Robach. Holmes admitted that he becomes anxious and fearful when they are apart and traveling without each other. He explained that he feels the need to be there to protect and help Robach if anything were to happen. Holmes clarified that it’s not just about missing her, but rather the worry that something might happen when they are not together.

The couple’s romance was made public in November 2022, which ultimately resulted in them losing their jobs as hosts of “Good Morning America 3.” Despite the challenges they faced, Holmes confessed in February that he knew he was in love with Robach in the spring of 2022, even though he was still married to Marilee Fiebig at the time. Their compatibility was further reinforced by a test conducted by OkCupid Global Communications Director Michael Kaye, who found that their sexual preferences were aligned.

As they navigate their relationship, combining their families has been a process that is becoming easier. Holmes shared that one of the “great joys” over the past few months was seeing his 11-year-old daughter, Sabine, warming up to the idea of him and Robach dating. Holmes and Fiebig filed for divorce in December 2022, and their divorce was finalized in October 2023.

Robach, on the other hand, was previously married to Andrew Shue when her romance with Holmes came to light. Holmes has two children from his previous marriage to Amy Ferson, a daughter named Brianna and a son named Jaiden. Robach has two daughters, Ava and Annalise, from her ex-husband Tim McIntosh.

The open and honest discussions about their relationship on their podcast have allowed Holmes and Robach to reflect on their journey as a couple. While they have faced setbacks and challenges, their commitment to each other remains strong. Holmes’ frustration and dislike for being separated from Robach highlight the deep bond they share and their desire to always be there for one another.
