A woman was tragically killed in a home in Kingwood, Texas, and the suspect, Byron Keith Hall, allegedly fired shots at responding police officers. Christian Jorgensen, who lived nearby, also heard the gunshots and later realized they came from a home his family had rented for four years. He expressed his shock at the situation, saying, “That was pretty shocking. I actually figured out this morning it was a house we used to live in by my parents right here. It was pretty sad, you know.”
As more details emerge about Hall, court records reveal a troubled past. In 2017, he received deferred adjudication for assaulting a public servant, and last year he was charged with indecent exposure. Now, Hall is facing charges of murder, aggravated assault of a family member, and aggravated assault of a public servant. He is currently in jail and is scheduled to appear in court on May 29.
