State Police Seek Help in Identifying Vehicle Involved in Fatal Rollover Crash on I-93

STONEHAM, MASS. – Massachusetts State Police are appealing to the public for assistance in locating a vehicle that was involved in a rollover crash on Interstate 93, resulting in the death of a 34-year-old woman. The incident occurred on Wednesday at approximately 8:40 a.m. on I-93 northbound, just south of Exit 26.

Details of the Crash

Upon arriving at the scene, first responders discovered a 2015 Nissan Rogue that had veered off the road and rolled over, causing the driver to be ejected from the vehicle. Tragically, the driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

While the investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing, Massachusetts State Police are particularly interested in identifying another vehicle that was believed to have been present in the vicinity at the time of the incident.

Description of the Suspect Vehicle

The suspect vehicle is described as a dark-colored small SUV, similar to a Subaru Crosstrek or a Nissan Rogue. According to MSP spokesperson Dave Procopio, this vehicle was observed operating erratically and at a high rate of speed on I-93 north in Medford and Stoneham leading up to the crash.
