St. John’s Aims to Secure Victory in Remaining Six Games: Determined to Shape Own Fate

St. John’s University’s basketball team is determined to secure victories in their remaining six games of the season, despite the challenges they have faced thus far. With a record of 14-11 and 6-8 in league play, the team is looking to turn their losses into wins and shape their own fate.

He credits their success to having the greatest coach in college basketball, a great staff, and a strong bond amongst teammates.

The schedule ahead presents opportunities for St. John’s to bounce back. Three of their remaining games are against Georgetown and DePaul, teams that have struggled in the league. Additionally, two of their games will be played at home, against Seton Hall and No. 17 Creighton. The only potential challenge on the horizon is a matchup with Butler, who St. John’s defeated convincingly earlier in the season.

Despite their recent losses, the team doesn’t believe they are far off from turning things around. They have been in close games, with three losses coming by three points or fewer. In four of their seven losses, they had led at halftime, indicating that they have the ability to compete at a high level.
