Shannen Doherty’s Ex-Husband Denies Affair Allegations Before Brain Tumor Surgery

Shannen Doherty’s ex-husband, Kurt Iswarienko, has refuted her claim that he had an affair before undergoing surgery to remove a brain tumor. Doherty made the allegation on her “Let’s Be Clear” podcast, where she discussed her divorce from Iswarienko and her battle with stage four cancer. However, Iswarienko’s camp has stated that they had been living separate lives for two years prior to her medical procedure.

A source close to Iswarienko revealed to TMZ that he had been honest about starting a new relationship while living in Texas, while Doherty was in California. Iswarienko allegedly informed Doherty about his new relationship in January, just days before she underwent an MRI scan. Doherty disputed this claim and took to social media to denounce it as an “absolute lie.”

Despite their differences, Iswarienko immediately flew back to California to be with Doherty after she learned about her tumor. However, she expressed that she did not want him there. Doherty has previously stated that she discovered her husband’s affair right before her surgery, feeling betrayed and unloved.

While Doherty was fearful about the surgery, she had the support of her mother, brother, and best friend Chris by her side. Although the surgery was successful, she still had to undergo additional radiation and continues to battle her debilitating disease.
