ISLAMABAD: The Grand National Olive Gala 2025 wrapped up at F-9 Park with an exceptional public response, drawing families, youth groups, farmers, and entrepreneurs from across the country. Supported by the Government of Italy through the OliveCulture ScaleUp Project in Pakistan in collaboration with Ministry of National Food Security and Research, the three-day festival showcased Pakistan’s expanding olive landscape through product exhibitions, regional stalls, live tastings, culinary demonstrations, and educational activities aimed at promoting healthier consumption and sustainable agriculture.
Visitors engaged directly with producers and innovators displaying premium olive oils, cosmetics, processed foods, and value-added products from Punjab, KP, Balochistan, AJK, and GB. The festival atmosphere highlighted the sector’s growing relevance for rural livelihoods, nutrition, and enterprise development.
While the Gala remained largely a public-facing celebration, the final two days also featured focused expert panel discussions touching on policy progress, market competitiveness, product quality, and opportunities for women and youth within the olive value chain.
The strong turnout and vibrant participation underscored Pakistan’s rising momentum in the olive sector and reaffirmed the significance of ongoing Pakistan–Italy cooperation in driving long-term sectoral transformation.

شرکاء نے براہِ راست مختلف علاقوں—پنجاب، خیبرپختونخوا، بلوچستان، آزاد کشمیر اور گلگت بلتستان—سے آنے والے پروڈیوسرز اور انوویٹرز سے ملاقات کی، جنہوں نے اعلیٰ معیار کا زیتون کا تیل، کاسمیٹکس، فوڈ پراسیسڈ آئٹمز اور ویلیو ایڈڈ مصنوعات پیش کیں۔ فیسٹیول کا مجموعی ماحول دیہی معاشی ترقی، غذائی تحفظ اور کاروباری مواقع میں زیتون کے بڑھتے کردار کی عکاسی کرتا رہا۔
اگرچہ گالا بنیادی طور پر عوامی شمولیت پر مبنی تھا، تاہم آخری دو روز میں ماہرین کی جانب سے مختصر پینل ڈسکشنز بھی منعقد ہوئیں، جن میں پالیسی کے ارتقا، مارکیٹ کی مسابقت، مصنوعات کے معیار اور خواتین و نوجوانوں کے لیے کاروباری مواقع جیسے موضوعات زیرِ بحث آئے۔
فیسٹیول میں بھرپور شمولیت اور مثبت ردِعمل نے پاکستان کے زیتون سیکٹر کی بڑھتی ہوئی رفتار اور پاکستان–اٹلی تعاون کی اہمیت کو مزید مستحکم کیا، جو اس شعبے کی طویل مدتی ترقی میں مرکزی کردار ادا کر رہا ہے۔
