The Pakistan Navy has seized nearly $1 billion USD worth of narcotics in two back-to-back maritime operations under the Combined Maritime Forces.
The raids in the Arabian Sea uncovered over 2 tonnes of crystal meth and 50 kg of cocaine aboard unregistered dhows.
The CMF calls it one of the largest drug interdictions ever.
Officials say the ships carried no flags and may be part of a transnational trafficking network spanning Asia, Africa, and the Middle East.
Analysts call this a strategic win for Pakistan and a reminder of how critical the Arabian Sea has become in the global narcotics trade.
