New Hampshire Authorities Successfully Identify Culprit Responsible for Deep Fake Biden Robocalls Urging Voters to Stay Home

New Hampshire Authorities Crack the Case: Culprit Behind Deep Fake Biden Robocalls Identified

In a shocking turn of events, New Hampshire authorities have successfully identified the perpetrator behind the deep fake robocalls that urged voters to stay home during the recent primary. The calls, which featured a bogus President Biden, were traced back to the Texas-based Life Corporation, leading to a criminal investigation into the hoax.

New Hampshire Attorney General John Formella announced the breakthrough during a press conference held in Concord. He revealed that Life Corporation, a telecom marketing company owned by Walter Monk, was responsible for the fake calls. By tracing the journey of a select group of these phone calls through the telecom system, authorities were able to pinpoint the source.

While Formella did not disclose the motive behind the robocalls, his office is seeking additional information from entities that may have pertinent information. The investigation aims to identify and hold all individuals or companies accountable for these acts.

Despite the attempt to deceive voters, President Biden emerged victorious in the primary. Approximately 5,000 to 25,000 Granite State voters received the fake calls before the Jan. 23 contest. However, this did not deter the 125,000 voters who ultimately participated in the Democratic primary, resulting in a resounding win for Biden.

The fake calls reportedly featured an AI version of Biden discouraging voters from participating, claiming that voting on Tuesday would only benefit Republicans and enable Donald Trump’s reelection. The deceptive nature of these robocalls added fuel to the Democratic turbulence surrounding the New Hampshire primary.

The national party had decided to move its first in-the-nation contest to South Carolina, but Granite State Democrats defied this decision, following state law instead. Biden, running a write-in campaign, aimed to secure a victory in New Hampshire to avoid potential embarrassment as an incumbent.

In response to the deep fake robocalls, both Formella’s team and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) sent a cease and desist letter to Life Corporation, demanding an end to any further illegal conduct. The FCC has not ruled out further enforcement action pending the investigation. New Hampshire is ready to take both civil and criminal action against the responsible parties.

The Life Corporation has yet to comment on the allegations, but Formella’s office is also looking into Texas-based Lingo Telecom for potential involvement. As investigations continue, Formella emphasized that law enforcement across the country is united in their commitment to safeguarding the integrity of elections.

The message from New Hampshire authorities is clear: they will not tolerate any action that undermines the democratic process. Formella warned any person or company contemplating such activities to think twice, as law enforcement stands ready to combat and prosecute those who attempt to interfere with elections.

With the identification of the culprit behind the deep fake Biden robocalls, New Hampshire authorities have taken a significant step towards preserving the integrity of their elections. As investigations progress, the nation waits to see what consequences await those responsible for this audacious attempt to deceive voters.
