Natalie Portman’s Divorce Rumors Ignited by Living Situation Revelation after Benjamin Millepied’s Alleged Affair

Natalie Portman Hints at Split with Husband Benjamin Millepied

In a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal, Natalie Portman’s comments suggest that there may be an official split between the actress and her husband, Benjamin Millepied.

The author of the article, published on Monday, mentions that the “May December” star lives in Paris with her two children but does not mention her spouse.

Further fueling divorce rumors, Portman arrived solo at the Golden Globes wearing a Dior Haute Couture dress and no wedding band.

Page Six has reached out to her representatives for comment but has not received an immediate response.

It is worth noting that Portman has not been wearing her wedding ring for some time. She did not wear it on her 11-year wedding anniversary to Millepied in August 2023 and also ditched the ring when going for a stroll arm-in-arm with him the following month.

Speculation Surrounding Their Relationship

Although the couple has yet to address the status of their relationship, there has been speculation that they called it quits following Millepied’s alleged affair with a much-younger woman named Camille Etienne.

Efforts to Work Things Out

A source previously told Page Six in June that Portman and Millepied have not split and are trying to work things out. The insider added that Millepied is doing everything he can to get Natalie to forgive him because he loves her and their family. Portman’s main focus right now is protecting their children.

Amid the Rumors

Amid reports of their troubled marriage, Portman was seen publicly wearing her 4-carat, Jamie Wolf-designed engagement ring at the French Open. However, a source later claimed in August 2023 that while they were trying to work on their marriage, they were currently on the outs.

The couple, who got married in 2012, have yet to confirm or deny the rumors or issue any formal statements through their representatives.
