Mets Owner’s Daughter’s Future Father-in-Law’s Wild Past: Alleged Cocaine Orgies

Sophia Cohen, Daughter of Mets Owner Steve Cohen, Engaged to CAA Agent Harrison Waterstreet

Sophia Cohen, the daughter of colorful and controversial billionaire Mets owner Steve Cohen, is engaged to CAA agent Harrison Waterstreet, as exclusively reported by Page Six last month. While Sophia may be accustomed to her father’s reputation in the US, it seems that her soon-to-be father-in-law, Charles Waterstreet, is just as eccentric in Australia.

Charles Waterstreet: A Top Lawyer and TV Drama Inspiration

Charles Waterstreet, a prominent lawyer in Australia, has faced allegations in 2017 that he denies. These allegations include boasting about threesomes and women snorting cocaine off his body. Despite the controversy, Charles is known as a “barrister” and is the inspiration for the central character on the long-running Australian drama “Rake.” It is worth noting that the actor who plays the lead role on the show has stated that there is no real-life counterpart to the character.

Charles was given a credit on the show due to one good story he shared with the creators, which was adapted and used in an episode. However, the actor has also mentioned that any day he doesn’t hear Charles Waterstreet’s name is a good day.

Sexual Harassment Allegations and Charles Waterstreet’s Response

In 2017, a 21-year-old woman named Tina Huang accused Charles of sexual harassment. She claimed that he asked her to watch a pornographic video during her job interview and told her about his enjoyment of women snorting cocaine off him. Huang also alleged that he asked her to send emails regarding overdue payments on sex toys after she accepted the job.

In response, Charles wrote a lengthy retort in the Sydney Morning Herald, stating that the reference to women snorting cocaine off his body is a joke he fondly tells. He clarified that he has been sober for 21 years and that the explicit video mentioned was not pornography but evidence in a court case.

Attorneys for Charles have stated that the allegations made by Huang are either false, baseless, or out of context. They argue that the conduct being claimed is either factually incorrect or misrepresented considering the circumstances and Huang’s involvement.

The Younger Waterstreet: Harrison Waterstreet

While Charles Waterstreet may have a controversial reputation, his son Harrison appears to be a more reserved individual. Harrison has been working as an agent in talent giant CAA’s movie division since 2019.

Overall, the engagement between Sophia Cohen and Harrison Waterstreet brings together two families with unique backgrounds and personalities. As they embark on this new chapter of their lives, they will undoubtedly navigate the challenges and joys that come with their respective family dynamics.
