Owning Up to the Mistake

In a TikTok video captured by a fan, Madonna can be seen addressing the audience and acknowledging her error. She jokingly asked if they were mad at her for saying “Hello, Boston” instead of Toronto. She compared the mistake to fans calling her another pop star, like Lady Gaga, and admitted that she wouldn’t appreciate it.

The Tour and Previous Performances

The blunder occurred during the second night of Madonna’s show at Scotiabank Arena as part of her ongoing tour. Prior to her performances in Toronto, she had two nights in Boston. The tour began in October 2023 with shows in London and continued throughout Europe before returning to London for the European leg in December 2023.

A Health Scare and Recovery

Madonna’s tour was initially set to begin in July of the previous year but had to be postponed due to a serious bacterial infection that landed her in the hospital.
