Kendrick Lamar’s Fiancée and Kids Make Rare Appearance in “Not Like Us” Music Video

Kendrick Lamar’s fiancée, Whitney Alford, and their two children recently made a rare appearance in the rapper’s new music video for his Drake diss track, “Not Like Us.” The black-and-white scene showcases the couple dancing in a cozy living room with their daughter, Uzi, and son, Enoch. In the video, Lamar is dressed casually in a zip-up hoodie, oversize shorts, and a baseball cap, while Alford sports an unzipped sweatshirt, a cropped tank top, and baggy jeans.

The couple’s children steal the show with their adorable presence. Uzi looks charming in a tutu dress with a bow in her hair, while Enoch rocks a tracksuit. As Alford joins her partner on the dance floor, she can’t help but smile as her children run around the room and play with a basketball.

Lamar released the “Not Like Us” music video two months after dropping the No. 1 song. The diss track is part of a longstanding feud between Lamar and Drake. The feud began when J. Cole declared in his 2023 song “First Person Shooter” that Lamar, Drake, and himself are the “big three” artists in hip-hop. Lamar responded in his March song “Like That,” asserting that he is the true standout among them. This exchange led to a series of diss tracks released by both artists in April and May.

Unfortunately, Alford became entangled in the feud when Drake accused Lamar of domestic abuse and infidelity in his track “Family Matters.” In response, Lamar retaliated by calling Drake a pedophile in his songs “Meet the Grahams” and “Not Like Us.” These allegations caused tension between the two artists and further fueled their ongoing dispute.

It’s worth noting that Lamar and Alford have a long history together. They met at their high school in Compton, California, and began dating shortly after becoming friends. The couple got engaged in 2015 and have since welcomed two children into their family. Uzi was born in 2019, while Enoch was introduced to the world on the cover of Lamar’s 2022 album, “Mr. Morale & the Big Steppers.” However, the exact date of Enoch’s birth remains unknown.

In response to Lamar’s diss tracks, Drake released “The Heart Part 6,” where he referenced Alford and Millie Bobby Brown from “Stranger Things” by rapping, “Only f–kin’ with Whitneys, not Millie Bobby Browns.” The feud between Lamar and Drake continues to make headlines, captivating fans of both artists.

Despite the ongoing rivalry, Lamar’s new music video offers a glimpse into his personal life and the joy he finds in his family. It’s a rare occasion to see Alford and their children in the spotlight, making this appearance all the more special for fans. The video not only showcases Lamar’s artistic talents but also highlights the love and happiness shared within his family.
