Kelly Ripa, the beloved talk show host, made a surprising confession on today’s episode of “Live with Kelly and Mark.” While discussing popular dog names with her co-host and husband, Mark Consuelos, Ripa admitted that she once believed NFL star Travis Kelce was actually two different people.
Consuelos playfully asked Ripa to guess the top trending dog name for 2023, but she already knew the answer from reading the headline. With a smile, Consuelos revealed that it was “Kelce,” referring to Travis Kelce. However, Ripa confessed that she had always pronounced it as “Kelece,” causing her to mistakenly believe there were two separate individuals named Travis Kelce and Travis Kelece.
Fortunately, Ripa has since cleared up her confusion and now understands that there is only one Travis Kelce in the NFL. In fact, she and Consuelos even paid tribute to the football star during Halloween by dressing up as Kelce and Taylor Swift. Consuelos sported Kelce’s jersey, while Ripa channeled her inner Swift with red lipstick and a long blonde wig.
During the Halloween show of “Live,” Ripa flawlessly pronounced Kelce’s last name as she confidently announced to the audience, “In 2023, no one played in football stadiums quite like Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.”
