Love Is Blind fans were in for a surprise during the Season 6 reunion when familiar faces from previous seasons made an appearance. One of these familiar faces was Mean Girl Micah from Season 4, who attended the reunion as Izzy’s companion. Hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the reunion promised “surprise guests” and the cast of the current season was eager to see who would show up.
The attendees at the reunion included previous cast members like Giannina, who arrived with her Bachelorette boyfriend, Matt, as well as Colleen, Kwame, Chelsea, and more. Initially, fans were not receptive to the time dedicated to the alums, but their opinion changed as they started interacting with the Season 6 contestants.
Izzy and Micah stood out from the rest of the attendees because they were not revealed to be dating, unlike the other couples present. However, their guest spot started to make sense towards the end of the episode. In a surprising twist, they announced that they would be contestants on the upcoming season of Perfect Match, a Netflix dating show, along with Jessica from Season 6.
Host Nick Lachey confirmed the news, stating, “That’s right! Micah and Izzy will be joining me on the next season of Perfect Match, coming this summer, along with Jessica.” Perfect Match, created by Love Is Blind creator Chris Coelen, features contestants from various Netflix reality shows as they couple up and face challenges to test their compatibility. It is sure to be an exciting new venture for Micah and Izzy.
Micah had gained a reputation for her harsh behavior during her season on Love Is Blind. She spent a lot of time gossiping with her pod bestie Irina and openly flirted with someone else’s fiancé. However, she took to social media after the season aired to apologize for her “mean girl” behavior. Micah later redeemed herself during the After the Altar special by showing a more team player side.
On the other hand, Izzy appeared in Season 5 and was relatively unproblematic. However, he did frustrate his fiancé by revealing his poor credit score. During the reunion, Izzy claimed that his credit score has been “fixed,” leaving fans curious about how he managed to turn things around.
Fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing how Micah and Izzy fare in the new reality show, Perfect Match. With their past experiences on Love Is Blind and their unique personalities, it is bound to be an entertaining journey for both of them.
