A tragic incident occurred in Carver, Massachusetts on Wednesday night, as a house fire resulted in one fatality and one injury. Fire officials are currently investigating the incident to determine the cause of the fire and the circumstances surrounding it.
The fire was reported at 222 Tremont St. around 11 p.m., and upon arrival, firefighters were met with heavy fire engulfing a two-story house. It was then discovered that a person was still trapped inside the burning building. Fire Chief Craig Weston stated that crews entered the house and quickly located a man on the first floor. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Miraculously, a second victim managed to escape from the house and was promptly transported by ambulance to a local hospital. The extent of his injuries and his current condition have not been disclosed. Fortunately, there were no other reported injuries resulting from the incident.

They are being supported by the Massachusetts State Police Fire and Explosion Investigation Unit, which is attached to the State Fire Marshal’s Office, as well as State Police assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office.
