Incidents of Alleged Shootings at Whataburger and Jack In The Box Stemming from Disputes over Orders

In a shocking turn of events, a Houston couple is facing charges of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly shooting at employees at two fast-food restaurants. The incidents, which occurred at Whataburger and Jack In The Box, were the result of disputes over the customers’ orders.

The first incident took place at a Whataburger on March 2nd. Faith Bailey, one half of the accused couple, had placed an order using the Whataburger app but failed to park in one of the designated pickup spots. Frustrated by the delay, Bailey entered the restaurant to confront the employees about her missing order. Witnesses reported a heated argument between Bailey and two Whataburger employees before she returned to her car. Shockingly, Bailey then returned to the restaurant with an armed man identified as Christian Nwabuisi, her partner in crime. The ensuing altercation escalated when Nwabuisi fired a total of nine shots, one of which struck a 24-year-old employee in the chest.

It didn’t end there. Investigators uncovered another incident that took place on January 27th at a Jack In The Box location. Bailey, once again, found herself dissatisfied with her order, this time arguing over extra cheese on her tacos. Surveillance footage shows Nwabuisi sticking his arm through the drive-thru window and firing ten shots in a fit of rage. Luckily, no employees were injured in this instance, but Bailey continued to yell and throw objects at them.

These incidents have left the Houston community shocked and concerned about the state of customer service and conflicts that can arise in fast-food establishments. While disputes over orders are not uncommon, resorting to violence is an extreme and unacceptable response. Fast-food workers are often under immense pressure to deliver orders quickly and accurately, and it is essential for customers to understand that mistakes can happen.

The Houston Police Department has taken swift action, arresting Bailey and issuing a warrant for Nwabuisi’s arrest. Both individuals are facing serious charges that could result in severe consequences if found guilty. These incidents serve as a reminder of the importance of maintaining calm and composure in frustrating situations and seeking resolution through peaceful means.

As news of these incidents spreads, it is crucial for fast-food restaurants to reassess their safety protocols and employee training to ensure the well-being of their staff and customers. Additionally, customers should exercise patience and understanding when dealing with mistakes in their orders, remembering that behind the counter are hardworking individuals doing their best to serve the public.

It is our hope that these incidents become a wake-up call for all involved parties and serve as a catalyst for positive change in the fast-food industry. Violence should never be the answer, and it is up to everyone to foster an environment of respect and empathy in our daily interactions.
