Former One Taste Facilitator Claims Attorney Manipulated Her Amid Federal Probe

Former One Taste facilitator, Alisha Price, has accused her attorney, Neil Glazer, of attempting to manipulate her into assuming the role of a crime victim in the federal investigation against the company. One Taste, a controversial sexual wellness company based in California, teaches a practice called “orgasmic meditation,” where women have their genitals stroked for 15 minutes. Price claims that Glazer was solely interested in filing a lucrative lawsuit against One Taste, similar to what he did for over 80 victims of the Nxivm sex cult.

Price firmly believed that no criminal activities had taken place at One Taste, but Glazer disregarded her opinion. She expressed her dissatisfaction with Glazer’s actions, stating, “It’s not right what Neil’s doing.” In June 2023, One Taste leaders Rachel Cherwitz and Nicole Daedone were arrested on charges of grooming members into having sex with investors and conspiracy to commit forced labor. They have pleaded not guilty and are scheduled to go on trial in January.

Price, who served as a senior member of One Taste until 2013, was taken aback when FBI agents arrived at her parent’s Florida home in April 2021. They warned her that if she didn’t testify before a grand jury in New York City, she would be arrested. Price explained that she left One Taste for personal reasons and never believed any criminal activities were taking place. When she asked the agents if they thought One Taste was similar to the Nxivm cult, known for its manipulation and abuse of victims, they confirmed their belief. However, Price promptly corrected them, asserting that their assumption was incorrect.

Refusing to participate in portraying herself as a crime victim, Price eventually hired Neil Glazer, who had represented numerous victims of the Nxivm cult. However, she claims that Glazer saw her as a target rather than a witness. According to Price’s lawsuit filed in Brooklyn Federal Court, Glazer and his firm collaborated with the FBI against her, betraying their own client. Price is seeking unspecified damages in the litigation.

Despite Price’s allegations, Neil Glazer has not responded to requests for comment on the matter.
