Fortunately, Scott credited the airbags and seatbelt for saving him from any injuries. He took to social media to express his gratitude to the Connecticut State Police for their assistance and shared photos of his damaged car. In a tweet, he wrote, “Rained so hard, so quickly, I hydroplaned on I-84 and drilled the concrete median. Airbags and seatbelt saved the day. Really lucky to walk away without a scratch.”

This dedication to his work was acknowledged by his ESPN colleagues, who expressed their relief that he had not been injured. Laura Rutledge, Dan Orlovsky, Stephania Bell, and Doug Glanville all sent messages of support and relief on social media.
