Dolly Parton, 77, shares her cosmetic procedure regrets

Dolly Parton Opens Up About Her Regrets with Cosmetic Procedures

Dolly Parton, the iconic country music star, is known for her openness about her cosmetic procedures. However, in a recent interview with Saga Magazine, she revealed that there are a few procedures she regrets.

Parton humorously stated, “If something is bagging, sagging or dragging, I’ll tuck it, suck it or pluck it.” She is not afraid to turn to cosmetic procedures to address any concerns she may have. However, she also admitted that she has taken some procedures a little too far and regrets the consequences.

The 77-year-old singer shared that sometimes complications can arise from procedures like fillers and Botox. Hematomas and excessive swelling can occur, which prolongs the healing process. Instead of being back at work in two weeks, it can take up to a month for the swelling to subside and for her to look normal again.

Parton emphasized that she tries to be cautious and not “overdo” the procedures. She opts for small enhancements such as fillers, Botox, and Juvéderm. Only when necessary does she consider more extensive procedures. She attributes her successful outcomes to finding the best doctors and being mindful of not going overboard.

Despite her confidence in her chosen procedures, Parton acknowledges the risks involved. Every time she undergoes a cosmetic procedure, she prays for a positive outcome. She understands that going under the knife always carries a certain level of uncertainty.

In the past, Parton turned to cosmetic surgeries because she had lost confidence due to weight gain. She believed that when you don’t look good, you don’t feel good about yourself. Determined to make a change, she decided to take action and improve her appearance.

Recently, Parton showcased her ageless form during a halftime performance at a Dallas Cowboys game. Wearing a teeny Cowboys cheerleading outfit, she impressed both the crowd and fans alike. Lala Kent described her as “really hot,” while Christie Brinkley suggested that Parton should be featured on Sports Illustrated.

Brinkley defended Parton against those who believe she should dress according to her age. She argued that an icon like Dolly Parton cannot be defined by a number. Brinkley even proposed that Parton should grace the pages of Sports Illustrated in the future.

Dolly Parton’s openness about her cosmetic procedures and her willingness to share her regrets provide insight into the world of celebrity beauty. Despite the risks and occasional missteps, Parton remains confident and continues to inspire others with her timeless beauty and talent.
