Justice Sought for Stolen Puppies in Bellingham
A heartbroken dog owner in Bellingham is pleading for justice after two of his beloved puppies were stolen from his home over the weekend. The incident occurred on North Street, where two males were spotted on the property shortly before the theft took place. The stolen puppies, both Micro American Bullies, were valued at around $3,000 and were described as tan with white markings on their chests and heads.
The owner, Jose Gudiel, expressed his devastation over the incident, stating, “It’s very sad that there are people with that kind of heart who will come to your home and violate your privacy.” Gudiel also mentioned that his family still has three other puppies and their mother, Tinkerbell, with them.
While Bellingham police responded promptly to the incident, they have not been able to confirm any connection between a suspicious person seen on the property the following day and the theft of the puppies. However, they are actively investigating the case and are in contact with the officers in Milford, who are handling a similar incident in their town.
Gudiel is hopeful that the thieves will be caught and brought to justice. He expressed his anger towards them, saying, “Shame on you…don’t just break into somebody’s home, that’s not right.” His family is devastated by the loss of their puppies and is desperate for a resolution.
