A Vibrant Maritime-Inspired Collection

The runway show showcased a collection inspired by maritime themes. Models wore striped suits, sailing jackets, fisherman sandals, and tropical floral prints. The runway itself was transformed into a seaside landscape, complete with sand and digital displays that mimicked the rhythmic motion of ocean waves.

Accompanying the outfits were several notable accessories, including raffia bucket hats and a standout Louis Vuitton Keepall 25 bag hand-embroidered with seashells. To add an extra element of spectacle, the brand’s logo, LVERS, was formed in the sky by a fleet of drones.

A Blend of Styles

Pharrell Williams described the collection as a blend of dandy style, sailor aesthetics, and resort wear influences. This show marked a significant milestone for Louis Vuitton, as it was their inaugural pre-fall menswear show.

Emphasizing Hong Kong and Asia

Louis Vuitton has had a presence in Hong Kong since opening its first boutique in 1979. This latest show underscored the brand’s focus on Hong Kong and Asia in its growth strategy. In line with this emphasis on Asia, parent company LVMH announced that Dior will unveil its men’s pre-fall collection in Hong Kong next year.

A Collaborative Event

The event was organized in collaboration with the K11 Group and was broadcasted live around Hong Kong via digital billboards. Louis Vuitton’s menswear division has previously launched collections in mainland China, particularly during the pandemic period.

Pharrell Williams, who has had previous collaborations and events in Hong Kong, expressed his gratitude for the support he received from the city.
