Biden’s Secret Actions Fuel the Surge of Illegal Migrants

Title: Biden’s Border Policies: Encouraging Illegal Migration and Ignoring the Crisis

Introduction:
President Biden’s efforts to address the border crisis are being called into question as new information reveals that his administration is quietly closing asylum cases and providing work permits to illegal migrants. These actions not only undermine the laws in place but also contribute to the overwhelming influx of migrants entering the country. This article examines the consequences of Biden’s policies and sheds light on the growing concerns surrounding the border crisis.

Closing Asylum Cases: A Disturbing Trend:
Recent reports indicate that Biden’s team has closed approximately 350,000 asylum cases over the past 2½ years. Rather than granting asylum or ordering deportation, these cases are terminated, allowing illegal migrants to freely move around the country without consequence. This approach raises serious concerns about the administration’s commitment to addressing the border crisis effectively.

End-Running the Law: Granting Work Permits to Illegal Migrants:
Don Barnett of the Center for Immigration Studies has discovered that Biden has established eight different programs that have enabled around 3.3 million migrants, many of whom are illegal entrants, to obtain work permits. These programs circumvent the legal requirement of a half-year wait before even applying for the right to work legally. Additionally, there are approximately 1.4 million pending cases, further exacerbating the issue. The administration’s decision to provide work permits to individuals who should not even be allowed into the country is deeply troubling.

Accelerating Dismissal of Cases:
According to Transactional Records Access Clearinghouse (TRAC) data, the dismissal of asylum cases has significantly increased since ICE acting Deputy General Counsel Kerry Doyle implemented a new approach in 2022. In 2020, only 4,700 cases were dismissed, but by 2022, this number skyrocketed to 102,550 cases—more than ten times the level in 2014. It is projected that this trend will continue, surpassing 149,000 cases by the end of the fiscal year in 2024. These dismissed cases are no longer monitored by ICE or any other authority, effectively allowing individuals to remain in the country without consequence.

Implications for Immigration System Integrity:
The consequences of these actions are twofold. On one hand, the administration appears to be resolving dubious asylum claims by wiping them off the official record. On the other hand, it is granting work permits to illegal migrants, further compromising the integrity of the immigration system. The number of approved asylum cases has also increased under Biden, with an average of 40% being approved, while the majority are dismissed. This lenient approach raises concerns about the administration’s commitment to enforcing immigration laws.

Questionable Prioritization of Work Permits:
While there may be valid justifications for granting fast-track work permits to certain groups, such as Afghan allies and Ukrainians fleeing conflict, the majority of these permits go to illegal migrants from various countries. These migrants come from Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Venezuela, Nicaragua, and Honduras, either through Biden-enabled programs or by using the CPBOne app to schedule their illegal entry. This raises questions about the administration’s priorities and whether it is effectively addressing the border crisis.

Conclusion:
Despite mounting evidence pointing to Biden’s role in encouraging illegal migration and exacerbating the border crisis, the administration continues to deny responsibility. These actions have far-reaching consequences, including overwhelming cities across America with an unending flood of illegal migrants. The White House’s persistence in rewarding border-jumpers while deflecting attention towards other issues raises concerns about its commitment to upholding the integrity of our immigration system and addressing the current crisis. As the public becomes increasingly aware of these policies, their impact on Biden’s approval ratings cannot be ignored.
