BEAT Extends 2024 Tour: Reinterpreting King Crimson Albums with Rock Icons Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Steve Vai, and Danny Carey

BEAT, the supergroup comprising Adrian Belew, Tony Levin, Steve Vai, and Tool drummer Danny Carey, has announced an extension to their highly anticipated 2024 tour. The tour will feature reinterpretations of iconic ’80s King Crimson albums “Discipline,” “Beat,” and “Three of A Perfect Pair” and will take place at various venues across North America from September to November. The tour has already garnered overwhelming demand, leading to the addition of new dates.

The previously announced New York and New Jersey shows include performances at Beacon Theatre on October 5, Hackensack Meridian Theatre on October 9, Kodak Center on October 19, and The Egg on October 21. However, fans will now also have the opportunity to catch BEAT at UB Center For The Arts in Buffalo on December 2, Tropicana Showroom in Atlantic City on December 7, and Kings Theatre in Brooklyn on December 8.

Although original King Crimson guitarist Robert Fripp will not be participating in the fall and winter run, he has expressed his support for the project. In a Facebook post, Fripp shared that Adrian Belew had discussed the project with him and that he fully encouraged it. He even suggested the name for the endeavor.

Fans can purchase tickets for all upcoming BEAT shows on platforms like Vivid Seats. It is important to note that Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, which means that prices may vary based on demand. However, the platform offers a 100% buyer guarantee, ensuring secure transactions and timely delivery of tickets.

For a complete calendar of all tour dates and venues, including the newly added concerts, fans can visit the official BEAT website. The website also provides links to purchase tickets.

In addition to the BEAT tour, Adrian Belew will also be hitting the road with Talking Heads and Modern Lovers member Jerry Harrison for a quick jaunt this year. Fans can check out Adrian Belew’s 2024 tour dates to see if they will be performing in their area.

For those who want to reminisce and listen to the band’s ’80s output before attending the tour, King Crimson’s three albums that inspired the upcoming shows are “Discipline” (1981), “Beat” (1982), and “Three of a Perfect Pair” (1984).
