Andy Reid Claims Meeting Taylor Swift Before Travis Kelce: Not What Travis Wanted to Hear

Kansas City Chiefs Coach Andy Reid Reveals Longtime Friendship with Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid recently shared that he has known Taylor Swift for years, much to the surprise of Chiefs player Travis Kelce. During an appearance on the “Let’s Go!” podcast with Tom Brady, Larry Fitzgerald, and Jim Gary, Reid discussed his longstanding relationship with the 12-time Grammy winner. He mentioned that Swift’s father, Scott Swift, played football at the University of Delaware and was a big fan of the sport. Reid revealed that he had met Swift and her father in Philadelphia.

Kelce, however, was not thrilled to learn that Reid had known Swift before him. According to Reid, Swift told Kelce, “I know your coach,” which didn’t sit well with the player. Despite this, Reid emphasized that there have been no distractions within the team due to his friendship with Swift. He commended Kelce for handling the situation well and expressed happiness for him and Swift.

Reid’s comments come after the Chiefs’ victory over the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game. Swift was present at the game, watching from a VIP suite alongside her friends Brittany Mahomes, Keleigh Sperry, and Cara Delevingne. After the game, she celebrated with Kelce’s family, including his parents and brother.

While Swift was seen with various celebrities at the game, her most notable celebration was with Kelce. Cameras captured the couple sharing a sweet kiss on the field and declaring their love for each other. It remains uncertain whether Swift will attend the upcoming Super Bowl in Las Vegas as she has scheduled performances in Tokyo around the same time.

Swift’s busy schedule includes the international leg of her Eras Tour, with performances in Australia, Singapore, and Europe in the first half of the year. She will then head to Canada in the fall.
