## Jack Black’s Surprise Appearance at Jonas Brothers Concert

[Jack Black](https://nypost.com/2023/04/06/the-mandalorian-fans-shocked-by-lizzo-jack-black-cameos/) surprised several Jonas Brothers fans on Saturday after appearing during the trio’s performance at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center. The “School of Rock” alum performed a song from “The Super Mario Bros. Movie,” much to the delight of the audience.

Black, 54, appeared during the show’s intermission dressed in a green, shimmering suit and a red mohawk wig, reminiscent of his character Bowser from the film. He dedicated the song to the Jonas Brothers and his “one true love,” Princess Peach.

## Golden Globe Nomination for Best Original Song

Black’s performance came just days before the song, which appears in the film and a post-credit scene, was [nominated for a Golden Globe](https://nypost.com/2023/12/11/entertainment/golden-globes-2024-full-list-of-nominations-announced/) for Best Original Song from a Motion Picture. The song’s success has also led to it being eligible for nomination at the upcoming Academy Awards.

Several fans went wild at the “Nacho Libre” alum’s appearance. One fan exclaimed, “THE WAY I WOULD HAVE PASSED AWAY,” while another said, “Omg I would die to see that.” Unfortunately, one unlucky fan admitted that they “can’t believe I was in line getting pizza and missed this.”

## Jonas Brothers’ Future Plans

Fans of the boy band were elated to learn that Nick, Kevin, and Joe Jonas would be launching a 20th-anniversary tour in 2025. The tour began on August 12 at Yankees Stadium and covers the band’s 5 album discography in a three-hour show. The Jonas Brothers will be performing their second-to-last official US stop until “The Tour” picks up again in New Zealand in February 2024.

According to The Post’s Chuck Arnold, the JoBros tour [doesn’t come “with much spectacle”](https://nypost.com/2023/08/14/jonas-brothers-concert-review-2023-set-list-surprises-highlights/), save for the obligatory pyrotechnics during their hit song “Burnin’ Up.”
