Authorities have identified the victim of a fatal shooting on Interstate 95 in Foxboro as Justin R. Parker, a 37-year-old man from North Attleboro. The search for the gunman is ongoing, and police are seeking information from the public.
According to the Norfolk District Attorney’s Office, the incident occurred around 10 p.m. when a dark-colored sedan, possibly black, was traveling southbound on Interstate 95 in Foxboro. The driver of the sedan fired multiple rounds into a black Mercedes, resulting in the death of Justin R. Parker. After being shot, the Mercedes swerved into a Lexus SUV before crashing into the nearby woods.
Justin R. Parker was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Authorities are urging anyone who witnessed any part of the incident or observed dark-colored sedans operating erratically or at high speeds on Route 95 to come forward with information.
