Familial Drama

Cher’s night out comes after her unsuccessful bid to become her son Elijah Blue Allman’s conservator. She argued that he needed the conservatorship to prevent him from using his trust fund to fuel his substance abuse. However, the judge ruled that an urgent conservatorship was not necessary but would consider a long-term conservatorship at a hearing in March.

Elijah, who attended the meeting in-person, acknowledged his past mental health and substance abuse issues but maintained that he is seeking treatment and regularly attending meetings.

A Legal Battle

Cher will have another opportunity to fight for the conservatorship during the hearing in March. Elijah’s lawyer expressed their satisfaction with the court’s decision, stating that he does not need a temporary conservatorship and is receiving a lot of support.

Elijah’s wife, Marieangela King, who recently reconciled with him, has also been by his side and argued against Cher serving as his conservator. She claimed that Cher is unfit for the role, citing her lack of knowledge of her own home’s security code, inability to drive, and dependence on others for daily tasks.
