Trump’s appearance in Nevada was aimed at rallying support for the Republican Party’s upcoming caucuses on February 8th. Although he is the only active candidate on the ballot, Trump hopes to generate enthusiasm among supporters.

Nikki Haley, Trump’s sole remaining GOP rival, has already conceded Nevada’s 26 delegates to him by participating in the state’s February 6th primary, which local Republican officials do not recognize as legitimate.
