Fox News Anchor Bret Baier Sells Florida Home for $13.49 Million
Fox News anchor Bret Baier has sold his Bermuda-style Florida home for a whopping $13.49 million. The upscale property, located near the Palm Beach Country Club, was originally purchased by the Baier family in March 2022 for $12 million. The property was previously owned by fashion mogul Tommy Hilfiger, who bought it for $9 million in 2021.
Features of the Home
The three-bedroom home features high ceilings, hardwood and marble flooring, and offers over 4,100 square feet of luxurious living space. It includes an entry foyer, a grand formal living room with a fireplace, an eat-in kitchen, a dining area, and a family room with beamed ceilings. Additionally, there is a bonus room that can be converted into a fourth bedroom and a spacious terrace with scenic views of the surroundings.
The outdoor area features a covered loggia, a pool, a built-in grill, and meticulously landscaped grounds.
Sale Details
The sale of the property was facilitated by Christian Angle of Christian Angle Real Estate. The identity of the new owner has not been disclosed, and the sale has yet to be recorded in public records. Baier had initially hoped to sell the property for over $16 million.
Baier’s Other Moves
In addition to selling his Florida home, Baier has also listed his Washington DC estate for sale with an asking price of $31.9 million. The Baier family, including Baier’s wife Amy and their two teenage sons, has purchased another lavish retreat in Palm Beach for $37 million.
Baier’s Love for Florida
The move to Florida was inspired by the family’s frequent getaways during the pandemic in 2020. Baier expressed his love for the Sunshine State, stating, “I fell in love with the place. The move to Florida was a great adventure for our family, and the boys fell in love with it.”
