Law Enforcement Continues Response to Stabbing in Boston’s Downtown Crossing Area
Boston, MA – A stabbing incident in Boston’s Downtown Crossing area prompted a swift law enforcement response on Monday night. At approximately 10:15 p.m., the Boston Police received an initial call reporting a person stabbed on Washington Street. The victim sustained serious injuries, according to police sources.
Upon arriving at the scene, a 7NEWS crew observed law enforcement, fire, and EMS personnel actively responding to the incident. Broken glass was visible on the ground outside a nearby building, indicating the severity of the situation. At one point, SWAT teams were seen making entry into the building.
As of 11 p.m., the area along Washington Street between Franklin Street and Summer Street remained closed off as authorities continued their investigation. No further details have been released at this time.
