Salem Works to Repair Crumbled Sea Wall

In Salem, crews have been working tirelessly to repair a section of the sea wall that collapsed under the relentless waves. The sea wall, which had been standing since the 1930s, suffered significant damage.

Kathy Picone, a resident of Salem Willows, described the storm as the worst coastal flooding she has ever witnessed. She expressed her sympathy for her neighbors and emphasized the community’s unity in overcoming the challenges brought by the storm.

Despite the ongoing cleanup efforts, Salem residents are bracing themselves for more wet and windy weather expected later this week.
