The Edna Police Department has shared images of a man wearing a black ‘Volcom’ hooded sweatshirt, who was seen driving a silver Ford Taurus. The vehicle’s model year is estimated to be between 2010 and 2018. Authorities believe that this individual may have crucial information related to Lizbeth Medina’s death. The police have not provided any additional physical descriptions but have mentioned the possibility of a tattoo behind the man’s right ear.

 Tragic Discovery and Grief-Stricken Mother

On December 5, the Edna police received a distressing call about an unresponsive juvenile at the Cottonwood Apartments. Tragically, Lizbeth Medina was pronounced dead at the scene. Her mother, Jacquline Medina, made the gruesome discovery after Lizbeth failed to show up for the town’s Lighted Christmas Parade with her cheer squad. In an interview with Crossroads Today, Jacquline expressed her indescribable pain upon finding her daughter’s lifeless body.

Capital Murder Investigation Underway

Investigators have classified Lizbeth Medina’s case as a capital murder investigation. The Texas Rangers and the Texas Department of Public Safety are assisting the Edna Police Department in their efforts to bring justice to Lizbeth and her grieving family.  Vigil and Support for Lizbeth

A vigil is scheduled to honor Lizbeth Medina on Saturday, December 6, at 6 p.m. at Cowboy Stadium in Edna.
