Samuel was described as a good person who enjoyed playing guitar and worked as a cook.

Melecio struggled to comprehend the loss of his nephew, as they were always together. He fondly described Samuel as a sweet and handsome boy. The close-knit family now faces the difficult task of coming to terms with this tragedy.

Community Reactions

Local residents expressed their concern and emphasized the importance of safety for cyclists in the city. Keaton Jahn, a frequent bike rider in the area, called it a terrible incident and urged caution while cycling. Boston police confirmed that the driver of the garbage truck remained at the scene.
