Wynonna Judd’s Troubled Daughter Faces Charges of Prostitution Solicitation and Indecent Exposure
The daughter of country legend Wynonna Judd, Grace Kelley, has once again found herself in legal trouble. The 27-year-old has been formally charged with soliciting prostitution, indecent exposure, and obstructing governmental operations, according to the Elmore County Sheriff’s Office. Kelley’s arrest took place on April 5 in Alabama after she was spotted near a highway with her entire chest and southern region exposed. It is reported that she did not cooperate with the police when they approached her.
Kelley’s arrest made headlines due to the shocking nature of her behavior. She was seen holding a sign that read “Ride for a Ride” while fully nude on the side of the highway. Police Chief P.K. Johnson of Millbrook, Ala. revealed this information to the Daily Mail, adding to the bizarre circumstances surrounding Kelley’s arrest.
This is not the first time Kelley has had a run-in with the law. In 2015, she was sent to prison for drug-related charges. Then, in 2018, she received an eight-year prison sentence for violating her probation. Kelley’s troubled past has been marked by several incarcerations and probation violations.
While her latest court appearance is scheduled for April 25, it is uncertain how these new charges will impact her parole. Kelley was set to be on parole until 2024, but her current arrest may alter that timeline.
Despite her legal troubles, Kelley was able to welcome a daughter named Kaliyah Chanel in 2022. The responsibility of caring for her granddaughter falls on Wynonna Judd, who is now 59 years old. In an interview on the “Today” show in 2022, Judd expressed her love for Kaliyah and how she brings hope into her life. Judd sees her granddaughter as a source of inspiration and a reminder to think beyond oneself.
