A dozen people were injured when an MTA bus collided with a Big Apple sanitation truck Wednesday night in the Bronx, according to police.

Details of the Crash

The crash occurred at the intersection of Hunts Point Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard in the Longwood neighborhood at around 9 p.m. The bus T-boned the garbage truck, causing significant damage to both vehicles, as reported by the police based on preliminary information.

Injuries and Hospitalizations

Five individuals were transported to Lincoln Hospital, while another seven were taken to St. Barnabas Hospital, according to the authorities.
